This report briefly mentions the death of Albert Swanson on the work site. An immigrant from Sweden, Albert Swanson was born c. 1870 and worked as a mold caster on the work site. He was killed when he fell and broke his neck on April 27, 1900 and was buried in the Minneapolis Pioneers and Memorial Cemetery on April 30.
