1902 Beam painting payroll. George Kepner worked as a laborer at the Capitol, although he listed his trade as tilelayer in the 1902 City Directory. He was born in Pennsylvania in 1872 and moved to Minnesota with his parents in 1874. He died in 1948 and is buried in Elmhurst Cemetery, St. Paul, according to Find a Grave.
