1905 Butler Bros Payroll and Census. Carpenter John L. Olson was born in Sweden in 1866 and emigrated in 1886. He was a member of Carpenters Local 87. In 1900 he was living at a boarding house at 607 Jackson St. with fellow Capitol workers Ole Moe and Alfred Magnuson at the time Magnuson fell to his death.
