1906 St. Paul City Directory and 1905 Census. Stonecutter Milton Young was born in Illinois in 1886. Several years after the completion of the Capitol he moved to Sandstone, MN and, according to his WWI draft card, was a foreman in the quarry there in 1918.

William H. Jones and his son Arthur H. were both born in Wales; William in 1855 and Arthur in 1876. William lived in Minneapolis and worked as a stone cutter on the Capitol in 1898 and 99.
