1905 Payroll, 1899,1900 City Directories. Christopher Gallagher (1861-1918) came to America from Ireland in 1881. The Stone Cutters'Journal of May 1898 reported that Gallagher was accepted into the St. Paul local on a card from Duluth. He was active in the Union and served as the Marshall for the stone cutters in the 1909 Labor Day parade. He and his wife raised a family in St. Paul and he died here in 1918.
